CCTV images released following an assault with injury at a service station – M40 Oxford

Thames Valley Police is releasing CCTV images following an assault with injury at a service station in Oxford.

At around 9pm on Thursday 21 June 2018 three members of the public were assaulted by a group of unknown offenders at the Welcome Break Services off Junction 8A of the M40.

The victims, a 49-year-old man, a 47-year-old woman and a 20-year-old woman sustained injuries including a broken nose, a swollen eye and scratches to the neck and elbow, however they did not require hospital treatment.

Investigating officer PC Simon McSweeney, based at Thame police station, said: “We are appealing to anyone who may recognise the people in these CCTV images to come forward. This was a particularly busy time at the service station and we believe there is a possibility that someone saw this altercation.
