Thames Valley Police is releasing images of people officers would like to speak to following multiple keyless car thefts in Kennington, Wallingford and Chinnor.
The first incident occurred between 9.30pm on Sunday (24/5) and 7.40am on Monday (25/5) at a property in The Avenue, Kennington. It is believed the offenders used scanning devices to steal the vehicle from the driveway. A black BMW was stolen.
The second incident occurred at around 3.10am on Monday (25/5) the offenders attempted to gain entry to a property in Kennington Road. It is believed they were also using scanning devices in an attempt to steal the vehicle from the driveway. The offenders were unsuccessful.
The third incident occurred at around 2.30am on Tuesday (26/5) at a property in Imray Place, Wallingford. A white BMW was stolen.
The fourth incident occurred between 9pm on Wednesday (27/5) and 7.30am on Thursday (28/5) at a property in Leyburne Gardens, Chinnor. A black BMW M4 was stolen.
Investigating Officer PC Lorraine O’Connor based at Abingdon police station said: “I am appealing to anyone who recognises any of these individuals to get in touch as I am keen to understand what they know about these offences.
“I believe that the offenders use a device and a laptop to intercept the signal from the remote sensor on the key and gain entry to the vehicle. They can then start the vehicle without the key and drive away.
