South Oxfordshire District Council have opened up a new pot of money for communities to spend on local facilities.
Any non-profit organisation can apply, like a charity or local village committee. The grants are from £10,000 to £100,000 over four years and can go towards things that can be used on revenue spending for the community – so things like rent and rates, salary costs, and marketing and publicity for community events.
It opened on 27 July until 15 September 2016. If you know anyone who would be interested, please put them in contact with the grants team on 01235 422405. They can let you know what you're eligible for and can even help you with making your application.
