Aylesbury and District Football League is back this weekend

Local Football is back and determined...

As previously reported local football is bordering a crisis where grassroots football is being forgotten especially under step 7 the semi pro level.

However the aylesbury and district league and its dedicated committee have battled on to ensure the green spaces in and around aylesbury see some football action this weekend.

39 teams and 26 referees have signed up for another season of fun, tears and joy ; and not even the closure of the famous football.mitoo website that many leagues have used the past ten years, or the resignation of the leagues much loved and respected fixture Secretary have put a dampner on things. The show must go on as they say.

www.adl-football.co.uk in conjunction with the fa.full-time website will bring you all the previews, gossip, fixtures, results and match action each week as the league will use Facebook and launch Twitter to get more people playing the beautiful game.

Any players wanting to join a club can contact the League at: [email protected] to advertise their credentials and join one of our hard working teams.
