Excited by the Ashes series that is playing out on TV screens, radios and mobile devices?!
The “Grey” Ashes is the Over-60s series between England and Australia that starts next month and will consist of 5 one-day internationals (ODIs), plus other matches, including internationals versus Scotland & Wales.
The great news for Thame is that the 1st ODI of the series will take place right here, on Church Meadow, on Wednesday 12th July (1.00pm start). Admission will be free and the bar will be open from 12.30. More details will follow nearer to the date.
England’s over-60s currently hold the Ashes, as well as the Carib Cup, which they won in the Caribbean in February, beating Australia in the final! (See photo)
