Here are some basic tips to follow to have as much fun as possible 
-Look out for posters like the one shown or any other signage reflecting the same, and respect the wishes of the residents
-The best option is calling in at homes that are clearly displaying Halloween decorations 
- If you get no answer on the first try please do not persist. If they do answer to communicate that they are not participating, please be prompt and polite in moving away from their doorstep
- Be mindful that some people may find groups of peoples at their door in costumes intimidating
It's routinely communicated to us that some people find this time of year stressful for various reasons, whether it be the potential for anti-social behaviour or being disturbed at home in the evening. While police will be responding to calls and carrying out extra patrols, you can help ensure the evening is peaceful for everyone by looking out for your local community
