At roughly 00:40am today, a resident of Chalgrove Road in Thame looked out of his window after hearing a vehicle reversing past garages at the back of his house. He saw two men, one very briefly (so couldn't give a good description). But he watched the other man walk down the side of his van and start trying to open the handles on the door and tool lockers. He was white about 5'7" stocky build and slight stubble, wearing a hoodie and gloves. roughly late thirties to early forties. The men were also seen tampering with neighbouring garages.
The Thame resident then shouted at them which prompted the man to run to his car, but shouted "I was just going for a wee" - reported to have sounded like a northern accent. They both sped off in a fairly new black Audi A3. Police were called to the scene.
Please be vigilant and look out for these criminals, as there has been several garage break-ins in the area. Report anything suspicious to the Police.
