A brief history of music - organised by Rotary in the Thames Valley Clubs

Rotary Club of Thame & District is asking the public to buy tickets for an online concert on behalf of charities for Wednesday 30 Sep 7:30 pm.


  "A Brief History of Music" by GreenMatthews takes in 600 years of musical history in 90 minutes! Beginning in the Middle Ages and ending up in the 20th century (and incorporating everything in between!) this fun and fast-moving show is a whistle-stop tour of Western musical history.


Rotary Club of Thame & District who teamed up with Thatcham Rotary and other Rotary Clubs in Thames Valley Rotary District are sponsoring this charity concert in aid of local charities helping people through the Covid-19 crisis and "End Polio Now".

Don't let the Covid-19 crisis derail the eradication of a child killing disease that was as bad as Covid-19

Haddenham Park Care Home: Stroke UK Meet & Move
Join the Stroke UK Meet & Move monthly support group for stroke survivors and their caregivers. Hosted as part of the Stroke Association support network, each session offers helpful information, resources, and a welcoming community. Stroke survivors can take part in a 45–60 minute exercise class led by a qualified instructor, while caregivers can enjoy coffee and social time in the piano lounge and connect with others. When: Last Tuesday of every month, 11:00am–12:00pm (starting 28 July 2026)Where: Haddenham Park Care Home & Apartments, Tibbs Road, Haddenham, Buckinghamshire, HP17 8FH A supportive space to stay active, share experiences, and meet others affected by stroke.

Join this free monthly support group for people living with Parkinson's and their caregivers. Held on the first Monday of every month from 11:00am–12:00pm, the session includes a gentle, physiotherapist-led exercise class for participants with Parkinson's, while caregivers can enjoy coffee, cake and the opportunity to connect with others in a relaxed, supportive environment.
