A Lord Williams’s School student made her debut for Wycombe Wanderers Ladies in the SSE Womens FA Cup last weekend.
Yasmin Knock, who has captained Thame Girls from Under 12s through to the Under 16s, has been rewarded with her excellent development by playing for Wycombe Wanderers U18s Ladies team this season.
Yasmin is a 16 year old striker who’s first game for Wycombe coincided with their first time in the FA Cup.
Wycombe had been looking locally to find a younger team to carry on feeding their ladies team, and thanks to Thame Football Partnership they have now found that. This means that Wycombe Wanderers U18 Ladies will be training and playing out of Meadow View Park in Thame.
If you are 16 or over and interested in playing for Wycombe Wanderers then why not get involved!? Wycombe Wanderers are looking for committed players with experience or higher, to join their ranks. They are incredibly keen on the development of women's football and are ambitious for its future. If you'd like to be part of this, then please contact club secretary Emma Newberry on [email protected].
