Princess Risborough Railway advises users of byway LCI/1/1 (Lower Icknield Way to Horsenden Village) that it has received from Buckinghamshire CC a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order, allowing it to close Little Horsenden Level Crossing to all byway traffic, including pedestrians. This is so that the railway can carry out urgent engineering work to renew the track through the crossing and replace the surface for byway traffic.
The byway LCI/1/1 at Little Horsenden level crossing will be closed from about 20m on the Horsenden side of that level crossing to about 100m on the Lower Icknield Way side of that level crossing from 14th May 2018 to 19th May 2018 inclusive. An alternative route will be signed for pedestrians and for other traffic.
The Chinnor and Princes Risborough Railway is sorry for the inconvenience that may be caused by this closure, which is essential for the safe relaying of track through the crossing.
