Thame Town Music Festival and Convention 2018 is to be held on the evening of Friday 13 July (19:00 – 23:00) and Saturday 14th July 2017 (12:00 and 23:00) in the town centre and at various existing venues in Thame, Oxfordshire.
The 2018 Festival and Convention is a free multi-genre, multi-venue, market town centre based free festival aimed at promoting live original music performance from new and established artists.
On 8th July 2017 the first Thame Town Music Festival was held. It was a free, multi-venue, multi musical genre, town centre celebration of live music held in Thame, with one mission: to promote original live music.
Various local, regional and national acts were showcased, with a main stage right in the centre of town with music from midday to 10:30 p.m. Seven other venues in Thame also hosted live music of different genres.
This year there will be 9 venues with over 60 multi genre acts. The High Street stage returns including various festival bars including a Pimms bar. There will also be food and craft stalls and a song writers competition.
