ASB still a high priority in Thame - Thame Neighbourhood Police

The latest Neighbourhood policing update for Thame is below:

‘You said we did’/ Priorities
Rural crime – Rural Crime is a priority for the Thame Neighbourhood Team, particularly around the Watlington area. The neighbourhood team have been conducting high visibility ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) operations on roads that may be used by criminals targeting the rural area. Officers have also been conducting regular high visibility patrols around the rural area.

Thame Anti-social behaviour – ASB in Thame is still a high priority for the neighbourhood team. We have been and will continue to conduct high visibility patrols through the town and in doing so have deterred ongoing problems. Drivers have been given Section 59 warnings for using their vehicles in an anti-social manner and persons have been issued acceptable behaviour contracts to prevent further offences.

Crime prevention advice
Theft from Motor Vehicles – Please remember to ensure that all of your valuables are either out of view or removed from your vehicle when you are leaving it, even if it’s only for a short period of time! Remember to wind up all of your windows and ensure you fully lock your vehicle.

What the neighbourhood team have been doing
