FC Thame won the Wycombe senior cup final last night with a 4-1 win over Hellenic east champions Penn & Tylers.
The game started badly for Thame as Penn scored in the opening minutes, but from then on in Thame always looked like winning the game. Kieron Schmidt who ran the midfield, found Sean Coles who got the equaliser before Schmidt again combined with Delderfield who unleashed a beautiful drive for 2-1.
Second half and Thame increased there lead as Delderfield scored again before Coles got his second for 4-1.
Skipper Paul Brown received man of the match from the Wycombe committee and also deservingly lifted the cup for Thame.
FC Thame play St Neots Town Reserves on Saturday. Bar a 29 goal swing, Thame can win the league with a point from their remaining three games, as they currently sit 5 points in front of Totternhoe who only have two games remaining.
