Did you see an e-biker rider with a machete in Chinnor on Saturday afternoon?
Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses after the rider threatened a man in their 30s at the junction between Estover Way and Middle Way at around 12.30pm. The same rider also threatened another man in their 30s at around the same time.
No one was injured and nothing was stolen in either incident, but we will not tolerate such behaviour in our communities so we are investigating.
The rider is described as a black or of mixed ethnic background man in his early 20s, wearing a black balaclava face covering and black clothing, with a machete in his waistband, on a black Surron-style e-bike. This is the only description we have at this time.
Anyone who saw either incident or the rider at the time, or has relevant information should call 101 or make a report on the TVP website, quoting reference number 43260569559.
Please also check CCTV cameras, dash-cams or video doorbells where appropriate in case you captured any relevant footage and let TVP know if you can help us.
Alternatively, you can provide information anonymously to independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111 or online.
