On Wednesday 15 July 2026, the second National Speedwatch day of action took place, where police forces from England and Wales participated in conjunction with NPCC Operation spotlight.
The following statistics were recorded for the Thames Valley Area, all in the one day:
Number of participated groups: 83
Number of participated volunteers: 262
Number of sessions: 91
Number of vehicles detected speeding: 1240
Number of passing vehicles: 10,504
