Care UK's Cuttlebrook Hall, on Stock Road, was crowned a winner in the 2026 Lottie Awards, which recognise and celebrate the top 100 UK care homes that demonstrate exceptional commitment to residents, families and team members.
The homes are judged using seven metrics: regulatory rating, Google reviews, enquiry handling, facilities, activities, media assets and data freshness.
Cuttlebrook Hall is known for its dedication to enabling residents to lead active and fulfilling lives. Providing daily group and one-to-one activities, regular Say Aphasia support groups and an array of luxury amenities, such as a cinema room, hair and beauty salon and café.
Hannah Karim, Lead Care Expert at Lottie, said: "Like other Care UK care homes, Cuttlebrook Hall is a purpose-built home, where every detail has been considered to ensure the design of the building helps residents live well and, where possible, independently.
"The activities programme goes far beyond standard offerings, the staff culture is genuinely person-centred, and the home's connection to the local community gives residents a real sense of belonging and ensures there's always something fun taking place – whether it's school children joining an activity, a local musical artist, or an event."
The winners are specifically selected by Lottie's team, who use their knowledge, insight and experience to decide which homes to shortlist, based on in-person visits, personal interactions with the team and feedback from care seekers and their families.
Alana Corr, Home Manager at Cuttlebrook Hall, said: "We are over the moon to find out that we have been recognised as one of the top 100 care homes in the UK. This is a brilliant achievement and a perfect testament to the team's continuous hard work.
"I couldn't be more pleased with the warm and welcoming environment we have created since opening in October 2023. I am incredibly appreciative of the whole team for their ongoing commitment to helping residents to lead fulfilling lives. I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who has helped make Cuttlebrook Hall such a lovely place to call home."
Cuttlebrook Hall is a state-of-the-art care home that provides full-time residential and dementia care, as well as short-term respite care. The home incorporates plenty of space for leisure activities and hobbies and includes its own cinema, hair and beauty salon and pub.
