The committee received a range of updates on:
- Green Living Plan Working Group have actioned more of the Green Living Plan objectives, continue to monitor and will issue updates on the Thame Green Living website.
- Public Art Projects are progressing following Full Council approval to draw down Section 106 funding.
- Verbal updates regarding Town Hall maintenance, Project Link, Maintenance team, and Thame Museum were provided.
- Trees, Parks, Green & Open Spaces and Biodiversity were discussed including the recent sponsorship by local business for four trees in planters to be sourced and placed within the town centre. A comprehensive arboricultural survey covering approximately 450 Town Council-owned trees is due to begin shortly. Progress made by volunteers at Cuttle Brook Nature Reserve was noted.
- The Committee approved the Terms of Reference for the Burial Space Working Group.
- Demand for allotments remain high, with Hampden Gardens at capacity with a waiting list. Discussions are ongoing with Persimmon regarding their allotment site to ensure appropriate long-term arrangements are in place.
- The Committee approved the updated Memorial Benches, Trees & Shrubs Policy.
