Works to demolish the Changing Rooms at Southern Road extended

16th July 2026

On Monday 6 July, works began to demolish the changing rooms at Southern Road Recreation Ground, as part of the approved plans for the new Community & Youth Centre. Due to the size and depths of the changing room foundations, the completion date has been delayed, with works expected to be completed by Friday 24 July.
