9th June 2026
The countdown is on to the Thame Sportive 2026, with less than a week remaining until cyclists take to the roads of Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire on Sunday, 14 June.
Organisers are expecting another strong turnout following last year’s successful event, which attracted hundreds of riders and raised funds for three local charities. This year’s sportive offers routes to suit riders of all abilities, including the challenging 130km route, the 80km Intermediate course, a new 48km option, and a family-friendly 13km ride.
Participants can look forward to:
- Scenic routes through the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire countryside
- Fully signed and supported courses
- Feed stations on the longer routes
- Free entry for children taking part in the Family Ride
- A finisher’s medal for every rider
- An event village in the heart of Thame
- The opportunity to support local charities and community causes
With favourable weather forecast for the event, organisers are encouraging anyone considering taking part to register soon while places remain available.
The Thame Sportive takes place on Sunday, 14 June 2026, starting and finishing in Thame, Oxfordshire.
