We are appealing for witnesses and dash-cam footage after a fatal road traffic collision on the A40 near Wheatley, yesterday.
At around 6pm, a single-vehicle collision occurred involving a blue Jaguar X-Type towing a caravan on the eastbound carriageway.
The driver, who was the only occupant of the vehicle, a man in his seventies, tragically died at the scene. His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
We ask drivers who were in the area before the collision, particularly those travelling on the opposite carriageway at around 6pm, to review their dash-cam footage, as it may contain information that could assist our investigation.
