HOW MUCH DOES A REPAIR COST?
Thame Repair Cafe is free. But if you can, we appreciate a cash donation towards Scout Hut Hire and insurance costs🙏
And we love a review on our Facebook page to help spread the word of fix/recycle/reuse, and saving money - to others in Thame 🙂
------
THE CAFE BIT
🧁There's tea/coffee/cake while your item is repaired/sharpened with you 💷(again, do bring cash for this, connectivity not great in the Scout Hut 🙂)
------
FUTURE DATES (there’s a Thame RC on the third Saturday in every month)
So we will be around on 20 June too (same day as ThamePride 🏳️‍🌈) if you miss us in May.
------
'HOUSE RULES'
See the 'pinned post' at the top of our Facebook page for our 'house rules'. Scroll down the feed to see what it looks like inside the Hut and other helpful info.
One item per household, per month, please (it helps keep the queue moving for everyone). Though you're very welcome to join the back of the queue with another repair if you wish.

KEEPING UP TO DATE WITH US
👉 Like/follow our Facebook page for updates >> click here... Repair Cafe Thame
And feel free to message us with questions about repairs, perhaps share a photo of the fix if you think it will help.
------
VOLUNTEERS ALWAYS NEEDED
Our existence relies on volunteers, so we always love to hear from people who can:
- fix stuff
- do simple sewing repairs
- help with the cafe and reception
...so that we have plenty of cover for illness/holidays/family events.

🪑FOR LARGER WOOD/FURNITURE REPAIRS...
Thame Shed (part of the 'Men in Sheds' movement) is open 9-12am M-F weekdays at Chinnor and Thame rugby club. They are best for larger wooden objects, especially furniture.
