Lord Williams's School has confirmed that a safeguarding project involving new gates and fencing systems has now been completed at its Lower School site and is close to completion at Upper School.
The new systems will become operational at Lower School on Wednesday 29 April 2026, with Upper School set to follow on Wednesday 6 May 2026.
The changes are part of updated safeguarding arrangements, enabling tighter control over access to the school site.
The school has also restated that its car parks are not to be used by parents or carers for drop-off and collection. With the gated system in place, access to the car park during these times will only be granted where prior, explicit permission has been provided by the school.
According to the school, the measures are intended to reduce risk to students and staff and allow safeguarding procedures to be more effectively enforced.
The school has thanked parents and carers for their continued support and cooperation.
