New Youth Worker joins Thame Youth Projects!

Thanks to funding from Friends of Thame Hospital, TYP have been able to recruit another youth worker to support Thame Youth Projects. Introducing Michelle: 

'I'm excited to be stepping into a new role as a part-time youth worker at Thame Youth Projects. I've been volunteering here for the past 15 months, so it already feels like a place close to my heart. During that time, I've been working towards my Level 3 Diploma in Youth Work, which I've now achieved.

I'm passionate about creating a safe, welcoming space where young people can be themselves, build confidence, and have fun. I'm really looking forward to continuing to support and get to know everyone as part of this amazing community.'

These sessions have no agenda, objectives, or themes, allowing for organic, group-directed conversations about anything related to death, from end-of-life planning to fears and feelings, fostering open sharing in a respectful, confidential space.
