New business launched in Thame

18th March 2026

DevComms is proud to announce the launch of Kopru, a new division dedicated to delivering powerful, community-driven public relations.

The new PR service will help to bridge connections between organisations and their communities, protect and enhance reputation and deliver a lasting, positive legacy beyond the construction phase.

The addition to the stakeholder engagement consultancy’s portfolio marks a strategic move to establish DevComms as the choice for organisations looking for a holistic PR solution.

Rob Allaway, CEO of DevComms, said: “Extending our service and offering to include PR made complete sense. By supplementing our award-winning stakeholder engagement work with pre and post communications, we’re delivering greater cohesion and efficiency for our clients.  We’re already seeing the benefits, with new client wins spanning work across both our engagement and PR teams.

“The new division also opens the door to broader PR counsel and communications support creating opportunities and scope for expansion. Headed up by MD Sam Kandiyali, who has a huge range of industry experience, we’re delighted that she has chosen to join us on a new journey for DevComms.”

Sam Kandiyali said: “We’re taking public relations at its word – focusing on real relationships with the people that matter most to our clients, to enhance reputation, drive engagement and deliver results.

“Having been involved in PR for the last three decades I feel that PR is, and should be, returning more to its roots.  Shaped by the pandemic, advances in tech and growing distrust in institutions – I believe the power of community has never been greater. That’s why our focus in all about building genuine bonds that strengthen loyalty and fuel growth.”

A former PR graduate, Sam has nearly 30 years’ experience in communications working for a range of organisations including charities, SMEs and household brands across various sectors including the built environment, healthcare and sports.

Whether it’s raising profiles locally, regionally or nationally, supporting social impact initiatives, or driving engagement for multi-site organisations, Kopru is committed to delivering value through compelling, community PR.
