Princes Risborough Young Farmers Club (PRYFC) has announced the return of its popular Charity Christmas Tree Collection, offering residents a convenient and environmentally friendly way to dispose of their real trees once the festive season comes to an end.
This year, the club is aiming high with an ambitious target: raising £10,000 in support of the Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust Charitable Fund. The initiative will help support vital services across local healthcare facilities.
The collection will take place on 10th January, covering Thame, Haddenham, Longwick, Chinnor, Risborough, Long Crendon, and surrounding villages. A minimum donation of £7.50 is requested, with all funds going directly to the chosen charity.
Organisers are encouraging early sign-ups, as demand is expected to be strong. “We’re thrilled to be running the collection again and supporting such an important cause,” the group said. “Every tree collected brings us closer to our goal.”
Bookings are now open, and residents can secure their collection slot via this link.
