Thame October Market due for Return Visit to High Street

15th October 2025

A bi-annual street market with a festival feel will visit Thame High Street this Autumn hosted by Zoom Events. Extended to four days due to increasing popularity, the market will run from Thursday 23rd to Sunday 26th October 2025. A firm fixture in the town’s annual calendar since 2017, the Thame October Market is fully booked and will feature a range of unusual stalls with local to international products.

Available in the street food court will be freshly made hot foods such as Korean corn dogs, tacos, fajitas, churros, Thai and Chinese dishes. Alongside, grocery stalls will be selling everything from unusual cheeses, olives, Turkish Delight and fudge to olive oil, bread and cakes perfect for some special treats to take home.

The Autumnal Market features a number of craft stalls making it a great place to choose some unusual homeware or pick up some interesting gift ideas. This time the selection will include wood and resin home décor, ethically sourced gifts and garden ornaments made from recycled materials, sterling silver jewellery and metal ornaments.

We look forward to visiting Thame to host the October Market,’ said Paul Kennedy, Director of Zoom Events. ‘Each time we try to bring something a little different to the Town Centre and it’s encouraging to see the market fully booked and now extended to four days’ he continued.

The Thame Autumn Market will be open on Thursday 23rd October from 11am – 5pm, Friday 24th October from 10am – 6pm, Saturday 25th October from 9am – 6pm and Sunday 26th October 10am – 4pm.

You are warmly invited to attend Death Cafe in Thame. at 7:30pm in room 1 of the Barns Centre, and held on the third Thursday of each month thereafter A Death Cafe is an informal gathering where people can discuss death over tea and cake. We’re aiming to normalise the topic of death, raise acceptance, and help people make the most of their lives by breaking the taboo around mortality. It is not a grief support group or counselling session. These sessions have no agenda, objectives, or themes, allowing for organic, group-directed conversations about anything related to death, from end-of-life planning to fears and feelings, fostering open sharing in a respectful, confidential space. Death Cafe is run on a not-for-profit basis but if you are able to make…
