Shoplifter caught
John Way, aged 49, of Pearce Way, Thame, has been sentenced to a community order, rehabilitation and a curfew requirement for one count of public order and two counts of shoplifting incidents.
Between March and May this year, John Way repeatedly stole items from the BP petrol station in Thame. On his most recent occasion, he made threatening and abusive language to a member of the public. Other members of the public intervened and helped the victim.
Our local Neighbourhood Policing Team continue to tackle repeat offenders and protect our High Streets.
