Yesterday evening, a special celebration was held in Thame to honour Debbie’s remarkable 40 years of volunteering with Girlguiding.
To mark this milestone, Debbie was surprised with a presentation of her official 40-year award in front of local Brownie packs. The event was attended by the Mayor of Thame, Andy Gilbert, as well as some of Debbie’s former Guide leaders and members of her family.
The celebration recognised Debbie’s long-standing dedication and the positive impact she has had on generations of young people through her service with Girlguiding.
