Thames Valley Police are urgently appealing for witnesses following a disturbing incident on the M40 northbound involving a male driver of a Black Tesla Model Y.
At approximately 2:30pm on Friday 11th April, a man was seen engaging in inappropriate and indecent behaviour while driving, causing significant distress to a victim traveling nearby. The vehicle was spotted between Junctions 4 (High Wycombe) and 8 (Oxford).
The suspect is described as a white male, aged between 40 and early 50s, wearing all black clothing. Police state that the man was visibly touching himself inappropriately over a prolonged period as he drove along the busy motorway.
“This type of behaviour is utterly unacceptable and will not be tolerated,” said a spokesperson from Thames Valley Police. “We understand how distressing this incident was for the victim and we are doing everything we can to identify the individual involved.”
Police are particularly keen to speak with two "workmen" in a van who appeared to witness the suspect’s behaviour and may have crucial information. Investigators are also urging anyone with dashcam footage, especially motorists who were in the vicinity at the time, to come forward.
