Chinnor is gearing up for an exciting addition to its recreational landscape — a brand-new skatepark at Whites Field Recreation Ground, and the community is being invited to play an active role in shaping its design.
The project, led by renowned designers Maverick Skateparks, aims to deliver a modern, inclusive skate facility that caters to skaters, BMX riders, scooter users, and rollerbladers of all ages and skill levels. This announcement marks a significant step toward providing more dynamic outdoor sports amenities in the village.
The proposed skatepark, currently in its consultation phase, is open for public input from now until 1st May 2025. Residents, especially young people and active users, are encouraged to share their ideas and feedback online through the official consultation page. A QR code featured in promotional materials provides easy access to the survey, ensuring a wide range of voices can be heard during the design process.
