In a continued effort to ensure public safety, local police officers have been actively patrolling various areas and taking enforcement action against traffic violations.
Police Constables (PC) Butler and PC Tillyer have conducted patrols across multiple locations, including the Ridgeway, Compton, East Ilsley, Blewbury, Upton, and Hermitage. Their presence aims to deter criminal activity and provide reassurance to local communities.
Meanwhile, PC Woolley has taken action in Thame, seizing a vehicle due to lack of insurance and an improperly held foreign driving licence. According to UK law, certain foreign driving licences are only valid for 12 months after an individual enters the country. After this period, drivers must obtain a UK licence to continue driving legally.
