Zoom Events is returning to Thame for a second visit in 2023 to host an eclectic street market on the High Street from Friday 27th – Sunday 29th October. Now a firm fixture in the town’s annual calendar, the market will once again feature an enticing selection of international street foods, handmade groceries, arts, crafts, accessories and gift ideas.
The Autumn Market will add an extra attraction for families visiting the town centre as part of a day out in Thame, along with plenty of inspiration for some early Christmas shopping. Visitors will be able to choose from a selection of freshly prepared hot food including traditional Japanese, Mexican, Thai, Sri Lankan and Chinese street food plus juicy burgers and smoked meats. The selection of artisan groceries will be equally varied including fine cheeses, homemade desserts, Turkish delight, olives, fudge, brownies and coconut macaroons.
Accompanying the food market will be a wide range of stalls with unusual arts, crafts, jewellery and homewares. From interesting items for the home to unique gift ideas, stall holders will be displaying items from around the globe including Indian clothing, Baltic amber jewellery and Tunisian pottery as well as locally produced hand-painted glass vases and handmade jewellery.
‘We always enjoy visiting Thame where our events are warmly received by local people,’ said Paul Kennedy, Director of Zoom Events. ‘In these tough economic times, it’s important that we continue to add intrigue and vibrancy to attract people into local town centres,’ he continued.
The Thame Autumn Market will be open on Friday 27th October from 11am – 5pm, Saturday 28th October from 9am – 6pm and Sunday 29th October 10am – 5pm.
