Last chance to have your say!

Please see the below from Thame Town Council:

With just over 2 weeks to go until the consultation ends, don’t forget to have your say on the draft Neighbourhood Plan. Meanwhile, what do Ikea stores and our website have in common? Well, they both have sneaky shortcuts. While Ikea’s lead to sturdy shelving units, ours will get you to answers to many of the questions you were asking during our recent consultation events.  Please take a look online – we’ll be adding more as the days go by.

Here's our starter for 10:

Why are we building more employment land?
Since 2011 our built gains of employment land have almost countered loss to demolition and conversion to housing. By 2020, however, our working age population had already grown by over 1,200 people. The Plan recognises that employment practices have been changing and is cautious in proposing land for around 350 jobs.

What are you doing to our Town Centre parking?!
We’re trying to protect it. The Town Council has no control over parking spaces in the Town Centre. Our TNP2 policy should prevent any agency – including Thame Town Council – from proposing change that would remove spaces without proof of sufficient capacity across the Town Centre car parks. The same applies to the Cattle Market.

Remember – the deadline for your comments is 7 August!
