If you have missed Thame Carnival as much as we have, then you can look forward to its return on 4 June with a 'Queen's Platinum Jubilee' theme. The parade will start at 12 noon at Elms Park and process through the town centre, ending at Southern Road Recreation Ground for a traditional Summer fete. There will be live entertainment, food and drink, a big bouncy castle, egg throwing, Pimm's tent and children's rides. All proceeds will go to Lord Williams's School Young Carers, Thame Guides and Thame Senior Friendship Centre.
