Friday Night Lights

STRAP yourselves in for another exhilarating evening of high-octane rugby as Chinnor take on Rams in their final home game of the season on Friday, April 22 (7:45pm kick-off).

The Thame-based club, who play at Kingsey Road, hosted their first National League 1 game on a Friday night against their long-standing local rivals back in 2020, with more than 1,300 people in attendance.

With tickets priced at just £10 for adults, this is sure to be a thrilling evening of sport, with this fixture always living up to the hype.

There are plenty of reasons to arrive early, with a pre-match curry buffet served from 6:15pm (bookings must be made in advance), while Happy Hour starts at the same time with a half price deal on jugs of beer and bottles of Prosecco. If you do not fancy a sit-down meal, there will also be external vendors at the ground, including a BBQ from Waddesdon Wagyu.

Furthermore, there will be live music from local band Bootlegger and they will be playing all the classics before and after the match.

To guarantee entry, Chinnor RFC Thame advises purchasing your ticket in advance via Eventbrite and have your QR code ready to be scanned on arrival. This can be printed or shown via a smartphone.
