As you may be aware, there is currently a national HGV driver shortage that has affected many organisations and companies across the country, including major supermarkets and takeaways. This shortage unfortunately meant we had to take the difficult decision to suspend garden waste collections at the start of August in order to ensure we could continue to collect your rubbish, recycling and food waste.
We said we would review the situation at the end of the month before providing an update. We continue to work closely with our contractor Biffa and hope to provide a further update next week. Garden waste collections remain suspended at this time.
