On Thursday 25 March the High Sheriff of Oxfordshire, Mrs Amanda Ponsonby, together with the Mayor of Thame, made a surprise visit to Thame’s Community Larder which is held each week in Christchurch. This facility which was set up by Sharing Life Trust and is a membership scheme open to anyone (no means testing), aimed at providing an affordable way to access healthy staple food, reduce food waste and improve the wellbeing of residents in the local area.

Join the Stroke UK Meet & Move monthly support group for stroke survivors and their caregivers. Hosted as part of the Stroke Association support network, each session offers helpful information, resources, and a welcoming community. Stroke survivors can take part in a 45–60 minute exercise class led by a qualified instructor, while caregivers can enjoy coffee and social time in the piano lounge and connect with others.
