Thame Community Ride for Reg

Reg Browne, a long time Thame resident, has been and continues to receive amazing care at Sobell House Hospice in Oxford. As an encouragement to him and his family and to support the hugely valued work of all those caring and working at the hospice a sponsored ride from Thame to Sobell House in Headington, Oxford and back on the August Bank Holiday Monday (31st) has been organised.

Sobell House Hospice staff provide specialist care for the people of Oxfordshire who are at the end of their lives and support their families, friends and carers. They endeavour to provide the best possible quality of life for their patients and to make every precious moment count.

The pinnacle of the ride will be at the halfway point when the riders will process - safely distanced - past the Browne family outside the Sobell House Hospice at the Churchill Hospital in Oxford.

Any sponsorship raised through this event will come at a time when donations and income from their shops has been markedly reduced due to the COVID-19 lockdown restrictions and will be hugely welcome.
