Have you discovered Thame's MonsterHeroes safari yet? For a suggested minimum donation of £2.00, this fun activity provides families with an ‘adventure’ whilst raising funds for the NHS.
The Safari works by utilising contactless NFC technology and QR codes, without the need for you to download or sign up to anything, you simply need to tap or scan to play - allowing your children to develop their tech skills, reading skills and map skills as they search for 10 cute and colourful MonsterHeroes. It is a brilliant way to get active, take the dog for a walk, or even a perfect activity for grandparents to do with their grand kids on one of the gorgeous days we are having this summer holiday!
During the Safari your children will learn each of the MonsterHero’s name, story, and superpowers as they come to life on your phone. Once all 10 MonsterHeroes are found, a free e-book is unlocked that talks about friendship, telling the story of their first team-up – a great bedtime story!
Due to the location of stickers, it has to be done Mon- Saturday during shop opening hours, so while you are out why not make the most of the day and use the Eat Out to Help Out scheme and have some lunch in one of the fabulous Thame venues involved. See below for more info.
