Chinnor re-sign Seb Scott

CHINNOR RFC Thame are pleased to start the week with the re-signing of another product of our youth system in Seb Scott.

The homegrown winger, who first joined the Club as an Under 13, has become the sixth player to commit for the 2020/21 National League 1 campaign.
Scott, who returned to Chinnor last summer following his degree at Bath Spa University, impressed throughout pre-season to earn a spot in the 2019/20 squad.

The 23-year-old is still awaiting his first XV league debut, but excelled for the Wildboys as well as producing brilliant performances in the Oxfordshire Cup semi-final and Lauren Cyster Megabowl Trophy.

Seb said: “It feels brilliant to have re-signed and I’m really looking forward to the season. I’m proud to get to this stage and I can’t wait to get going. It means a lot to play for the Club.
It’s just nice to be able to put the jersey on and play in front of a good crowd. There’s always been a lovely vibe at the Club, everyone’s fantastic and it’s a nice environment to be around.”

Chinnor RFC Thame Director of Rugby, Richard Thorpe said: “Seb is a fantastic player with the physiology to continue improving and make an ever-greater impact on field. He is in a competitive position this season for Chinnor, but I have no doubt he will be working hard alongside his peers during pre-season, and he will play a huge part in our 2020/21 campaign.”
