A new public footpath has been created on the outskirts of Thame.
The largely unused footpath runs from the Eastern Bypass around the back of the Windles and Groves buildings and comes out on the Phoenix Trail. The start of the footpath is signed, not very obviously, where the private road to the left of the Windles building leaves the Eastern Bypass road, opposite Pickenfield.
This 300 metre footpath has recently been cleared by Thame & Wheatley Ramblers and is now open for anybody who fancies a short circular walk using the Phoenix Trail to return to the Eastern Bypass.
Ideal for dog walkers but please do clean up after your dog.
