21st Century Thame is excited to announce a workshop session for home educated children. There are limited spots available, 6 spaces for the children and 6 spaces for their accompanying adult.
The workshop is to build a hedgehog house from a kit provided. No experience of building anything is required.
The price of the workshop is £15 per child (accompanying adult is free).
We usually sell the hedgehog houses for £45 but you can purchase the one you build for just £30 on the day.
The hedgehog houses are needed in towns and villages, to help protect our prickly little friends and to give them somewhere safe to live. Many hedgehogs have been spotted around Thame and so 21st Century Thame is aiming for many houses and new buildings to have one placed in every garden. Can you help by building a hedgehog home ?
The date for the workshop is Monday 1st June 2026. Arriving for a 10am start.
The workshop is located near Aston Rowant Nature Reserve, directions will be sent on confirmation of attendance. Please contact [email protected] is you are a home educating student or parent or guardian who would like to come along.
