Thame’s Community Land Trust (CLT) was formed in 2019 with the aim of providing truly affordable housing in Thame for local people. After many years of hard work and determination, excitingly, this week (w/c 21 September) preparatory works began on site!
The site is located west of Windmill Road opposite the Stones Close Allotments and will provide 31 one-to-three-bedroom homes. You may notice activity on or around the site in the coming months – please be assured that all works are being carried out in accordance with the planning permission (granted in 2024) and in consultation with key stakeholders including the Town Council, utility companies and the Walk, Wheel & Cycle Trust (formerly Sustrans, who look after the Phoenix Trail). The current expected completion date is early Spring 2028.
