Sinaia, Thame’s twin town in Romania, is present again this year at TAL Thame Arts and Literature Festival. The presence is virtual with a 15-minute movie, “Sinaia Musical Town”. The film focuses on the rich musical heritage which this town has brought to the world.

The film is the result of the work of volunteers from ASPE, the Sinaia based cultural association which promotes a cultural dialogue between Thame and Sinaia.
Thame and Sinaia have been twinned since September 2012. TSFA has been recognized by the Thame Town Council as the main voluntary organisation responsible for liaising with similar organizations in Sinaia. Its aims include promoting friendship and understanding between the citizens of Sinaia and Thame as well as encouraging exchanges of all kinds between the two communities.
