Thames Valley Police want local residents to be aware that each Friday in November (3, 10, 17, 24), Thames Valley Police will be running police training at Chinnor railway station. This will take place from 8am until approximately 4pm and will be within a separate area in the station, with no impact on passenger journeys.
The training is for police firearms officers and will involve around 24 to 30 people each day and is part of the regular training our officers receive to prepare for a range of scenarios. There will be a number of police vehicles in the area.
Officers will be dressed in full person protective equipment and will be carrying training weapons and may at times wear helmets.
