Residents may be aware that last week, Lidl submitted a full planning application for a new food store in Thame on the CPM site, on Aylesbury Road. The planning application can be viewed on the District Council’s website. This is also the link to submit your views on the application (by 11 December 2025).
The Town Council will be considering this application and making a recommendation to the District Council at a Full Council meeting, and we are aiming for this to be on 20 January 2026. To avoid the risk of predetermination, the Town Council will not be commenting on the application until that meeting.
