Oxfordshire's always fab TOWERSEY FESTIVAL kicks off today (Fri 23 Aug) with a great line-up that includes Dublin's Hothouse Flowers, 2-Tone stars The Selecter (celebrating their 40th anniversary), shanty singers Fisherman's Friends (whose story recently inspired a hit movie), Seth Lakeman, The Unthanks, Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel, From The Jam, and a very special tribute to folk singer and activist Roy Bailey, featuring Martin Simpson, Tom Robinson and special guests.
There's also three dedicated venues for the All About Children strand, plus a Youth Programme, 48hrs of ceilidh and dance, workshops, fire-walking, a well-stocked real ale bar, the traditional Towersey Lantern Parade and loads more.
Towersey Festival Taster Tickets are available from just £12 per day, with Day Tickets for the full festival from £35 (adult).
