Leaders from the hospitality industry have teamed up to launch a nationwide campaign called #CancelTheCurfew.
The James Figg in Thame have joined the campaign, they posted the below on their Facebook page over the weekend:
"Since reopening, we and Peach Pubs have followed all government safety guidance, making our pub a really safe place to meet, drink and dine.The truth is, there is no evidence the 10pm curfew helps control the spread of COVID-19, but it is impacting the livelihoods of many in our industry. Our sales have already dropped by over 20%. No one wants to see more pubs, restaurants and bars disappear and more job losses in hospitality."
