The Tuesday Charter Market fully operated for the first time since the Covid-19 lockdown, with 29 stallholders pleased to be back to support their Thame customers. Both the safety of customers and stallholders was paramount with a wider layout to help with social distancing and a hand sanister station on site. Thame Town Council officers, car park attendant and market traders would like to give a special “thanks” to the local residents and businesses that moved vehicles from the area as requested. The new layout will be in place over the coming weeks and your continued support will be required by not parking overnight in the Upper High Street car park from 7.00pm on Mondays until 5.00pm on Tuesdays. Support from Oxfordshire County Council should not go unnoticed as they enabled an emergency road closure to support safety requirements for the new layout.
The Farmers' Market will be back on Tuesday 9 June in the Upper High Street Car Park from 8.30am - 1.30pm.
