Thames Valley Air Ambulance has teamed up with a Thame firm of solicitors for a special Make a Will Fortnight this month.
From 28th February to 14th March, the solicitors will waive their usual fee for Will drafting, in return for a donation to the local lifesaving charity.
Legal documents can seem overwhelming and writing a Will is often something that people put off. But Make a Will fortnight is the perfect opportunity to tick it off your to-do list, knowing you are helping Thames Valley Air Ambulance to protect people in your community for years to come.
Ann, a volunteer from Buckinghamshire, has pledged a gift in her Will to TVAA:
“I chose to leave a gift to Thames Valley Air Ambulance after meeting two crew members and hearing about the amazing work they do, 365 days a year. It is important to me to know that I have made plans to help such an important charity, who are at the frontline of saving lives when every second counts.”
Lisa McGinty, Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships and Thames Valley Air Ambulance, said:
“At this time of year, the shops are full of romantic presents and ways to show our love. But what about gifts that last beyond a lifetime?
“As a charity, we could not do what we do without the support of our community and gifts in Wills are a vital part of our annual income. Make a Will fortnight is the perfect time to leave a lasting legacy of love.”
